dallas.

ever notice the pros & cons of myspace in the realm of music? well, not too long ago i wrote justin from red animal war on myspace & we bounced back & forth on various things. the other day i thought i'd ask him some random interesting questions, well interesting to me as a fan. anyway, his gamma-blasted hybrid of red animal war, known as the numbers twist, are playing this weekend & i would love more than anything to be able to witness this beast. he also pointed out to me that another dallas band, of which i highly enjoy, slowride, are playing this weekend as well. point is, i really wish i was in dallas, tx. texas alone is a breeding ground from some incredible bands that do well at keeping me sonicly satisfied.

last night i had a dream of which all i can really recall is brad walking all the way over to my apartment to catch a school bus with me & getting really pissed that someone towed my car, which oddly enough was my old '89 honda prelude from a while back. i also remember burying myself under my blanket as the cold fought its way through the cracks in an attempt to steal my breath & kill me prior to work. i wish it did. sorta. work was annoying as i was constantly being made to feel as if i was a distraction to the steady flow of operations. when in reality, i was doing far more good than harm & just happened to show my skills at bad timing in more ways than just girls. also i was, without a choice, forced to work an extra hour with pretty much zero notice. that blows. after work i stopped by dave's house since he's home from tour. nice to see him & catch up. other than that i took the wheel to a laid back evening, threw my anchors down & tried to stay warm. it's funny cause everytime i get my mind wrapped around someone in particular, she comes through with this connection. so i reached in my pocket & listened to a sleepy smile. it was much needed, especially being surrounded by such a chaotic season. i really love how you can hear a smile.

this week feels so slow & i want this month to be over already. so much to worry about. i was able to clean up a bunch of viruses & spyware off of my computer thanks to jon christman. much appreciated. but things are still acting funny. damn you blogspot! but have no fear... i have an apple pie to eat!
