exploder.

letting too much time pass often makes it harder to backtrack & remember things. wednesday i took back the rental car. couldn't afford to keep it any longer. due to hours being cut & the car situation i was off for a lot of days... thursday night i went to the silver diner with a friend & saw 'The Rite'. distractions happen. also started to realize i've lost all of my smooth moves. womp womp. friday i was picked up & spent the night in PA. usual friday night. watched a couple of movies. saturday was round two of prep for taking over the world. ha! came back home & messed around with my stubborn macbook. sunday would've consisted of work since it was super bowl sunday but again, due to no car, no work. i watched the game. picked the packers. not bad. laughed my ass off at some incredible commercials. monday was no work in the morning but work at night. stayed an hour late too! tuesday was the same thing with the exception of finally getting my car back. wednesday was my usual day off but instead of sleeping in, i met up with a friend i had lost touch with & did some hanging out, as well as discussing future ideas! stoked. afterwards i took an exit 10 miles too soon from my own. picked up a friend. took back roads. came home. disappeared. may have gotten into an awkward situation. not sure. ended up seeing another friend afterwards that i haven't seen in a while. ate some fresh homemade fries. came home. listened to the strokes' new song on repeat. now it's time for bed & seeing my morning job for the first time in over a week! woo!

speechless.

apparently i wasn't kidding about not updating as often... monday & tuesday were filled with work. wednesday morning i came home & slept. woke up & everything was covered in snow. lots of snow! basically did nothing as a result. at least nothing i can really recall at this point. i'm sure i watched some netflix & fell asleep. thursday was work... in the snow! made easy money. can't complain. thursday night was more work. friday morning. 4:20something am. got stuck in the snow, thanks to terrible plowing. eventually dug myself out & went to bed. woke up. worked. extended my rental car until wednesday. checked on the state of my car. drove down to south, south jersey. watched my friend's first performance since halloween 2009. watched some other acts. the night dragged on like concrete shoes. hung around pretty faces and old records. ventured home. slept. woke. headed down to not so south jersey with my buddy to kill some time & eat some food. dropped him off near by. stopped by the tattoo shop for some additional time killing. drove home. messed with snow/saved a bush. drove north this time. watched my buddy climb out of musical retirement. saw many old faces. watched my first band's bassist do his thing. drove home. dropped off buddy. slept. woke up. wasted time. resolved some things. drove west to PA. spent the day playing acoustic & deconstruction/reconstructing songs. played ghostbusters on the wii. hung around. came home. & now i've been editing videos from friday night. another great weekend. now the boring part. sleep. work. work. work. etc.

destruction.

friday was rather typical. worked. after work i was out driving & my car started to sound a little weird & whatnot. checked to make sure there was oil & started to head home. stepped on the gas & BOOM! sounded like something exploded underneath the hood. followed by a sound similar to rocks being thrown around underneath the hood. smoke. death. so i managed to pull the car into the nearest parking lot & popped the hood. seemed like a hose blew up & was pouring out coolant everywhere. called to get picked up. looked more. there's a hole in the engine. yup. ended up going to car rental place & drained my bank account, renting a car. bummed. went to pa for my buddy's birthday dinner. lots of laughs & documentation of my buddy, drunk. came home. slept. saturday involved going out for lunch. making arrangements to have my car towed. then eventually out for a surprise birthday party for another friend of mine. nice to see certain faces & be around a family that i've known for ages. eventually cake ended up everywhere. including my face/hat/shirt. photos & video exist from various points of the night. it was fun. probably much needed. sunday was lazy. went out to lunch & dozed off in bed fully clothed with my shoes & jacket still on. yeah. tomorrow is work & work. probably hearing the official news about the death of my car. for good. boo!

smaller.

i'm allowing myself to slack on writing everyday since if you haven't caught on by now, certain days are just work & sleep. i'm also pretty sure that no one is even reading. except for me. in the future. slept in on my day off. received a package from ups. that was rad. finally left the house & headed south to the tattoo shop. hung out. went to a couple of bars & ate wings. (i still don't drink if you weren't sure). realized chances. noticed the size of the planet. came home & guess what? same thing as everytime. technically right now it's thursday, so you can expect work/sleep/work/sleep/work which will bring us to friday afternoon. then stuff to maybe write about. listen to daytrader.

routine.

sundays are always low key. sleeping in as best as possible unless woken up early for some reason. lounging around listening to music. getting lunch with the father. walking up & down the middle of the interstate. taking my time on getting things done. hooking up digital cable boxes for the mother, etc. all just a normal sunday. just like the not so normal mondays of waking up, going to work, coming home, sleeping, going to the other work...

traveler.

friday was a long day. after returning home from work at early in the morning, i slept, woke, went to work. afterwards, i stopped & saw my mother. came back home. drove across the bridge into pa. bought guitar strings, realized i dislike people hanging out at guitar center. another stop. hung out. watched movies (catfish, four rooms). played/sang with my acoustic. which was recorded. but i don't like it. talked. came home super late. slept. gotten woken early by mistake. snoozed. woke. drove back to pa. rehearsed. came home. made plans. plans fell through. drove south. plans revitalized. drove back to pa, again. saw the green hornet in imax 3d with a friend i haven't seen since summer +1. back to nj. got wawa. came home. now i'm in bed. not going into pa anymore this weekend. had vague plans for tomorrow due to tonight's plans falling through, doubt they'll still exist now. i wanna watch a movie but should probably go to sleep. especially since i didn't get to sleep in this weekend, yet.

sometimes it's pointless to me to post after days like these. i worked, came home, slept, worked, came home, & now it's the current. time to sleep, go to work & so on.

fishtailing.

seriously slacking! tues morning i went to work, usual work day. came home to find TWO packages in the mail. received my copy of the casket lottery's "possiblies and maybes" on clear with white vinyl (double lp) & the other package was cave in's "antenna" on transparent orange vinyl (another double lp). hydra head really hooked it up & threw in a bunch of posters & 4 cds (each band relating to cave in). not bad. got my hairs cut. finally. came home. slept. got up & left for work. took a truck since my car doesn't like the snow. got on the interstate. not bad. started fishtailing. got control. lost control. spun around 180. wild. got to work. felt like a ghost town. came home. slept. woke. shoveled. hung around. got a pizza. got some mac & cheese. came home. combined the two. watched 'Ink' on netflix. now i'm ready for bed. too much for me.

welp. last night i watched the 'Burbs on netflix. slept. went to work. slept. went to work. now i'm home in bed. ready to sleep then work. simple. yup.

inbetweener.

so i'm late again with writing & this could serve as an inbetweener. yesterday felt like sunday. ate lunch at friday's on a saturday. hung around the house all day in my coat. made an educated guess & was correct. stayed up too late by habit. watched a movie (this film has not yet been rated) & went to bed. woke up early for a sunday (sunday for real this time). crossed a bridge. crossed paths planned. almost spent a ton of money but held off for now. car is getting bad. stopped for lunch. went back to my buddy's apartment. ate lunch & hung out. played guitar & discussed futures. came home & kept it low key. now i'm here in this moment. but as you read this, i'm gone. watch a movie? sleep early? we'll see. tomorrow is monday. i'm not sick. back to work. both jobs. sigh.

was i that tired that i forgot to update late last night? crap! so friday started off on a couch after sleeping briefly in a bathtub. after some additional rest & the morning off. i got dressed & left the house. been in bed for basically two days & i drove an hour or so away to asbury park. went to a show. three out of four bands playing were friends. multiple friends. good times. the riot before headlined & were awesome. bought their record. hung out & spent time with so many awesome faces. much needed after being down for the count for a bit. had some tots. mmm. food. missed it. got home. clearly forgot to update. yup.

sick.

not much to write. woke up at 7am. vomiting violently. didn't work either job. achey, cold. blah

woke up later than i had expected to. lounged around laziness. received a new record in the mail (pictured below). made plans with michelle. drove to her place. played with an awesome puppy (also pictured below). she drove to philly. nothing too crazy. rittenhouse park. cosi. barnes & noble. back to jersey. stopped at Wawa (no surprise), back home. watched 'I'm Still Here'. in bed. work and work and work til the weekend. the next two posts should be rather boring but hey, i'm keeping up!

trying to make a routine out of writing here again. different than tumblr. hopefully. slow start, yet again. woke & eventually went out for food. chinese food & i aren't so friendly anymore. played tetris & finally decided i wanted to go see Black Swan. intended to go alone for the first time since 16 Blocks (2006?). my father tagged along. people talked during the entire movie & that was annoying. sewed a button. joined skype. still awake. feet are cold.

slacker.

here i am, 4 hours & 29 minutes into the second day of the year 2011. the transition from 10 to 11 was spent in PA. i sent out individual personal texts to close to 140 people in my phonebook. it was much better than sending a generic mass text. i can certainly say i am thankful for all of the faces i got to see & spend time with during the year. 2010 was the year of connections. 2011 will hopefully be the year of action. many ideas discussed in 2010 will hopefully become a force in 2011. the first day was spent dragging until motivation kicked in. had dinner with the family of one of my longest current friendships. a second family of sorts. some dozing during hockey & followed up with True Grit & Wawa. optimism is in full force this year.
